

Ste (he/him) is one of our business consultants with a key focus on supporting SMEs and the third sector to achieve their goals and aspirations through his business development, customer and process improvement, and portfolio, project management skills, and experience.
Ste started his business career from college and built up a strong reputation as an award-winning creative and inspirational leader in the northeast contact centre industry. He started to find his passion for problem-solving during his journey becoming a change expert with qualifications in Lean Six Sigma via the British Quality Foundation and the Lean Enterprise Research Centre (LERC).
Most recently, Ste has been using his transferable skill set to support the third sector and small businesses. He's also been instrumental in supporting the LGBTQ+ community through his work with Northern Pride.

Achievements
Some of Ste's greatest achievements include the development of a new to bank process as a result of the 2008 banking crisis, and his work in delivering exploratory customer engagement tools using virtual reality and Microsoft Kinetic technology.
As an LGBTQ+ campaigner and activist, Ste recently developed and delivered a new communication and marketing strategy for the largest LGBTQ+ charity in the northeast which resulted in 31.2m opportunities to view and engage, and a customer satisfaction increase from 69% to 90%. Ste also led the charity through its first rebrand since it launched, which enabled an increase in revenue streams and sponsorship opportunities resulting in an 84% increase (170% increase in sponsorship and 150% increase in event ticket sales).
Ste's creativity doesn't stop there, as a freelance photographer and graphic designer, he's often found supporting local artists and performers with image and promotional materials.

Head of Events

Ste has joined the leadership team of ISG to head up their event and festival programme 'ISG Event House'.
The ISG Event House is home to a full service event management function. With a proven track record of creating, project managing and delivering successful high profile experiences from outdoor festivals to Celebrity Gala events that have raised thousands for Charities. Ste will lead the in house team of creative and technical experts who work with clients every step of the way to ensure an efficient process that reflects their visions and objectives. ISG partner with high quality talent to deliver exceptional experiences that exceed expectations.

Ste campaigning for equal access to sport for the LGBTQ+ community, which included Northern Pride becoming the first LGBTQ+ charity placed in the Great North Run. Europes largest half marathon.
Northern Pride
Director

Ste is currently the Director of Northern Pride, the northeasts largest LGBTQ+ charity.
Appointed to the position of Director during a period of flux, needing to balance the needs for Northern Pride to stay true to the community but having a strong commercial proposition. Responsible for operational management, financial position, and people management. Ste has led the charity rebrand and re-launch including clear principles and goals. This has been warmly received by the community and stakeholders. He also successfully bid and won the title of UK Pride 2021 in a process voted by the UK Pride organisers.

Ste has been supporting singer and songwriter Sam with his latest album release and brand campaign including music video production, album design, and UK tour.
Sam is growing in experience and music listenership with 1 million streams and European playlists and radio coverage, with BBC's Graham Norton saying Sam "keeps getting better and better".

Ste has supported the marketing campaign for Open House which has included front-page coverage from the Journal's Business papers.

Business Development

Open House is Gateshead's first zero-waste retail and lifestyle store.
Ste has been supporting the development of the business since its formation and helped deliver a digital solution for contact-free deliveries as a direct response to Coronavirus and lockdown restrictions. This allowed Open House's customers to continue to shop in confidence during the pandemic.
This solution has allowed the business to continue to grow and diversify further, with Ste responsible for the launch of a zero-emission delivery service.
